Classes

An overview of classes in Fire Emblem: Engage.

Classes in Fire Emblem: Engage

Fire Emblem: Engage takes a step back in terms of complexity from it's predecessor Three Houses. It returns to a system more akin to that of older games, where there are only unpromoted and promoted classes.

Unpromoted Classes can promote to one of their respective Advanced Classes by using a Master Seal at level 10 or higher. Units can use a Second Seal to reclass to another class in the same tier as long as Weapon Proficiency requirements are met. Additional Weapon Proficiencies can be obtained by fighting with Emblem rings to improve bond levels with them and inherit the Weapon Proficiencies they grant.

Class Types

Engage adds a new dimension to classes in the form of class types. Each class can have one of 8 different class types, which will provide that class with additional pros/cons. Class type also affects appearance while Engaged with an Emblem ring. The different class types are listed below, along with their added effects.
